This is a large, wide run; riffle up top, but after that calm and quite a long flow. There is a low bank to the east but a grassy one to the west, which reaches to Litlaá river junction. The Salmon can be all over the pool but most often it stays up in the riffle, it may also be found lower and close to the junction.
