Bamfield marks the northern start (or finish) of the infamous West Coast Trail, but beyond its hiking reputation, it's also home to Brady's Beach, a quiet, scenic spot perfect for camping right on the sand. The beach faces northwest, meaning that in the right conditions, it catches some wonderful light, especially in the evening.

At least for photography, the main draw is the set of small sea stacks offshore. They make for fantastic subjects, especially with the Broken Group Islands in the background, adding extra depth to the scene. To reach the beach, you must cross Bamfield Inlet by bringing a small boat or taking the local ferry. Once across, it's just a quick 10-minute walk to the beach along a well-trodden trail. Whether you're there for camping, photography, or a peaceful escape, Brady's Beach is well worth visiting.
