A favorite of mine in Talkeetna, Shirley's serves some excellent homemade ice cream - including a fireweed flavor! Fireweed is a bright pink flower that local's use to determine how many week's of summer are left, and it's a unique flavor you can probably only find in Alaska! (It's pretty good and I would recommend!)
