The word gem gets chucked around a lot but I think in this case its warranted even if just for the setting alone. If you're a fan of pub gardens then The St Kew Inn is probably going to be up your street. Located in the picturesque Parish of St Kew, it is a charming 15th-century pub with a big old garden with loads of greenery and lovely places to sit.

Now based on the description so far you might be thinking its a summer spot, however the inside is great too with four dining areas, a traditional bar and welcoming log fire, so it's an amazing place to cosy up.

And finally for arguably the best part.. the food. The menu is filled with deliciousness like Smoked Chicken with Leek & Bacon Croquettes, Gherkin mayonnaise or Pan fried Cornish Hake with Potato Terrine, Braised Fennel, Tender Stem, Lemon Butter.

Basically you need to get yourselves here if you can, even if just for a pint!
