Great Malvern, Worcestershire, is a spa town at the foot of the Malvern Hills. This positioning makes it the perfect place to spend the night if you are after easy and convenient access to the iconic hills.

Its basically one of those English towns that is ripe for a potter.. when we weren't exploring the surrounding beauty we spent our time slowly walking through the streets, grabbing coffees and eating ice cream in the parks. It has a really slow, nice pace to it.

Even if you're not a big history person, the town's architecture, typified by the pretty spectacular Priory, gives the place a unique feel and makes roaming the streets aimlessly quite a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Good cafes, old bookshops, lovely parks, beautiful architecture, gorgeous views... that type of thing.
