These guys have nailed the luxury treehouse escape. The spacious designs include a super-king sized bed, a kitted out kitchen and a large balcony complete with an outdoor bath and in ours, (which was called Buzzard), an extremely comfortable daybed - you could easily lose an afternoon here reading a book or playing board games, ideally with a glass of something delicious... in our opinion there's little more peaceful than soaking up the sights, sounds and smells of a woodland.
What really sets this place apart however is perhaps how you get here. Dropping your car at reception, you will be given a golf buggy to load your bags onto and set off in search of your treehouse. Winding past a stream and through woodland, you already feel a million miles away from city life and everyday stresses before you even reach your accommodation.
The Treehouses are located on the Cowdray estate, famous for it's outdoor pursuits such as golf, polo, fishing and clay pigeon shooting so you could always work one these activities into your schedule or alternatively just take things slow and perhaps partake in a little polo spectating from the sidelines.
Pro Tip: There is a great farm shop on site for bits and bobs but for a cheaper shop you can head into nearby Midhurst where you'll find a variety of shops. Definitely stock up on snacks for the evening as the treats in the treehouse were particularly expensive.
