If you like the idea of staying in an eco cabin but don't want to sacrifice comfort then this is definitely worth checking out. Unlike many properties that claim eco credentials, these guys have not done things by halves. The accommodation was hand built by owners Becks and Bill Goddard using sustainable and clever materials such as sheep's wool for insulation, recycled paper insulation, wood fibre board and eco clay based paints.
The site is powered by solar energy, drinking water is from a bore hole and they reuse rainwater to flush toilets and water the garden - quite simply, these guys have thought of everything!
With one king-sized bedroom and another room with a double bed and then single bunk above it, this is a great spot to come as a family. The outdoor bath, shower, fire pit and eating area makes it the perfect indoor/outdoor living space, without sacrificing on comfort - the indoor bathroom and kitchen is also fully equipped should you prefer to cosy up inside.
With stunning sunrise views from your porch and not another person or building in site, that morning cuppa has never tasted so good!
