If you're looking to get away from the hecticness of city life and immerse yourself in nature for a few days then this could definitely be for you. Nestled in the Black Mountains of Herefordshire, bordering Wales, Ritty Retreats comprises of two cabins surrounded by woodland and wildflower meadows and with Escley Brook a stones throw from your door.
Kingfisher Cabin is the more basic of the two, with no wifi, outdoor cooking facilities and a compost toilet - it's a great option if you want to get back to basics and have a real digital detox whilst still having the comfort of a king sized bed, heating and hot showers.
Cobnut Cabin is the slightly larger of the two and is more 'luxurious' with your own hot tub, full wifi connectivity and views of the Black Mountains from your french doors.
It's worth mentioning we didn't stay here when we visited as we were just passing by to take a dip in the beautiful brook, however we would love to return and spend longer here when we can. The addition of Escley Brook on your doorstep is what really sets this property apart in our opinion. There's nothing better than waking up and going for a dip in the river or cooling off after a long walk. There is also a small boat that guests are allowed to use which is great fun if you have young kids.
