Travel Inspirations by 500 Miles Away

Heading ~70 km along the coast, we discovered Kálfshamarsvík, an abandoned harbor framed by towering basalt columns. The cliffs rise dramatically from the black sand shore, creating a surreal, almost haunting landscape.

We walked along the edge of the cliffs, careful on the rocky terrain, and were rewarded with incredible views and solitude, far from the usual tourist crowds.
