The Rockpile at Moraine Lake is a can't miss for any visitor to Banff. It's more of a walk than a hike, so don't worry about breaking a sweat. The trail leads you to the famous "Twenty Dollar View" where you can soak in the stunning scenery of Moraine Lake and the Ten Peaks.
This should be your first stop after reaching the parking lot, as it's just a few minutes away. This is widely considered the best photo op spot at Moraine Lake, so make sure to take plenty.
Please be mindful that private vehicles are generally not permitted on the road leading to Moraine Lake. You'll either need a Parks Canada shuttle reservation (which sell out well in advance) or a commercial reservation.
If Parks Canada seats are sold out, I suggest checking the Moraine Lake Bus Company.
