I've actually hiked Heybrook Lookout twice, and somehow both times I made it to the top, it was pretty hazy. Despite that, I still think it's worth doing. The hike is short but gets your heart pumping, and reaching the old fire lookout at the top is a fun reward in itself. Even though I missed out on the views both times, it's easy to tell that on a clear day, the panorama of the surrounding mountains would be incredible.
