Eco-camping "Las torcacitas"
Campsite
Directions

Eco Camping Las Torcacitas: A Jungle Sanctuary in Xul-Há

If you are looking for a true "off-the-grid" experience, Las Torcacitas is the place. Located in the serene jungle of Xul-Há, this eco-camping site is designed for those who want to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. Here, there is no electricity and no place to charge your phone—just the sounds of the jungle and the stars.

The Experience:

  • Comfort in the Wild: Don't let the "camping" label fool you. They offer spacious tents equipped with comfortable beds for 2 to 4 people. You get the magic of sleeping in the heart of the jungle with the comfort of a real bed.

  • Farm-to-Table Dining: They have a massive organic garden and laying hens on-site. The "Huerto a tu Mesa" (Garden to Table) experience is a must; you’ll enjoy some of the freshest, most authentic meals of your trip.

  • Prime Location: You are only a 5-minute walk from the Xul-Há cenote, one of the most peaceful sections of the lagoon system.

  • Activities: If you stay here, kayak use is included! For a more relaxed experience, you can also book tours on sailboats, pontoons, or motorboats directly through them.

Founder’s Tip: While you can visit just for the day or for a meal, I highly recommend staying the night. There is something transformative about waking up to the jungle birds and eating breakfast made with ingredients harvested just steps away. As always, visit mid-week for the ultimate private experience.

Vibe: Raw, ecological, and deeply peaceful. Perfect for: Digital detox, couples, and nature enthusiasts. Note: Remember to bring a power bank if you really need your phone, but I suggest leaving it off!
