The Pagodenburg is a beautiful octagonal building constructed by Effer between 1716 and 1719, serving as a resting and playroom for Elector Maximilian Emmanuel.

Its entire interior is decorated in an Asian style: silk furniture and rice straw wallpaper. Unique! The Japanese lacquer paintings on the walls are stunning.
