The museum has existed since 1973, but a new building was constructed and the new museum opened to the public in 2008.

It has over 5,000 square meters of exhibition space, showcasing, in addition to cars and motorcycles, the fascinating history of the BMW (Bayerische Motorenwerk) brand.

The museum aims to combine contemporary history with technological development. It has five floors dedicated to automotive history.

It is a large silver building in the shape of a giant egg, with the BMW symbol emblazoned on top, visible from the top of the TV tower.

For car enthusiasts, it's a must-see!

Opening

The Museum is open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, Tuesday to Sunday.
