The Treasury Chamber, which houses magnificent jewels and gold pieces from the Bavarian royalty.

Among them are royal crowns and precious vases made of valuable materials, as well as masterpieces of craftsmanship and exotic curiosities.

In 1565, Duke Albert V of Bavaria decreed that the family treasure would not be sold under any circumstances.

This exhibition is located in the ten rooms of the royal Residenz building in Munich, with more than 1,200 objects.


Opening

From March 23rd to October 20th: daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:00 PM).

From October 21st to March 22nd: daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM).

Closed: January 1st, Carnival Tuesday, December 24th, 25th and 31st.
