Halblech is a small town in the Ostallgäu district of Bavaria (Schwaben), formed in 1976 by the union of Buching and Trauchgau.
It has about 3,500 inhabitants and is situated at approximately 800 meters above sea level, with variations in relief up to 2,082 m at the peak of Hochplatte.
The landscape combines lakes (there are 4 beautiful ones), mountains, forests and alpine nature, making Halblech an ideal place for those who enjoy tranquility, hiking, panoramic views and an alpine climate.
Halblech is quite close to famous attractions such as Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, which are only about 10km away.
It is also part of hiking trails, summer excursions, outdoor sports and, in general, has a tourist offer that mixes nature and culture.
In the center of the small town of Halblech, there are beautiful houses whose facades are richly decorated and painted with motifs typical of the region.
