If you walk along the city wall, you'll quickly notice the small houses along the way.
They are called Kasarmen and are something very special.
They probably all date back to the Thirty Years' War in the 17th century and were rented to the poorest segment of the population.
During the war, however, the residents had to vacate their homes, and soldiers and mercenaries moved in. It is said that the wounded were also treated there.
Today they are highly sought after, and the waiting list for one of these houses is long. It's definitely worth taking a stroll along the side of the city wall; there's a lot to discover.
