Right in the heart of our medieval town, you'll find the stunning St. George's Church.

While the light-filled Gothic hall is beautiful and free to explore, the real adventure is climbing the 'Daniel' tower. It's a bit of a workout—about 350 steps—but the panoramic view from the top is absolutely worth it.

You can see the entire town nestled within its perfectly preserved walls and even the unique landscape of the Ries crater beyond.

Tickets are only available in advance at the Nördlingen Tourist Information Center. The price per person is €8.00.
