St. Jakob's Church has a fabulous altar, created by Tilman Riemenschneider. According to legend, a drop of Christ's blood is kept in this altar.

The church's construction lasted from 1311 to 1485.

The lighting of the church choir is especially beautiful in the early morning sun.
