The Weinsteige path (also called the Riviera), for pedestrians only, runs outside the city walls, between the Burggarten and the Kobollzeller Tor, below the Plönlein.

It has scattered vineyards and a beautiful view of the Tauber River Valley, where you can see several old mills, such as the Herrnmühle, the Schlößlein, the Lukasrödermühle and the Hansrödermühle.
