Munich's football (soccer) temple is located north of the city and is home to the football clubs Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich.

With its grand architecture, the stadium holds 69,901 spectators, distributed across three covered galleries.

The first games at the Allianz Arena were held in 2005, but it was specially built for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Guided tours are only possible on days when there are no scheduled games or events.

A restaurant is also available inside the stadium for visitors.
