For that absolutely perfect, fairytale photo of Neuschwanstein Castle, you have to make your way to the Marienbrücke. Suspended high over the Pöllat Gorge, this pedestrian bridge offers the most iconic vantage point.

Be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk; it's about a 30-40 minute hike from the village, but the path is paved and the rewarding view is more than worth the effort. It can get quite crowded, so try to go early in the morning to have a more peaceful experience and capture the castle in the best light.
