The German Sport and Olympic Museum is housed in a building within Cologne's historic customs harbor.

Spanning 2,000 square meters, the museum showcases the history of sport—from Ancient Greece to the present day—featuring legendary German athletes such as Boris Becker, Steffi Graf, and Michael Schumacher. With over 3,000 exhibits, documentaries, and numerous interactive media stations, the journey through the history of sport becomes a truly unique experience.

Throughout the museum, visitors can engage directly with sports; for instance, a small soccer field is open to visitors on the top floor of the building — among many other attractions.

Opening

It is generally open from Tuesday to Sunday and on holidays, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Tickets

€10.50 for adults, and €7.50 for children and students.

Address

Im Zollhafen 1
