The Olympic Park impresses with its architecture and recreation centers.

Built for the 1972 Summer Olympics, it is considered one of Munich's most attractive leisure parks. There you will find festivals, exhibitions, parties and other events.

The green area and artificial lake of the Olympiapark make this environment unique.

Pay attention to its hills: they are artificial, made with rubble from World War II, remnants of the city's old buildings.

Fun fact: it was in the area of the future Olympiapark that the famous Zeppelin docked for the first time, in 1909. And in 1925, the site housed Munich's first airport.

Within the Olympiapark, also visit:

- Walk of Fame

- Olympia Stadion

- Sea Life

- Olympiaturm
