Built from snow each winter at 2,700m, Iglu-Dorf Zermatt is one of the Alps’ most unforgettable places to stay. It’s a full igloo village — with carved sleeping suites, a cozy snow bar, whirlpools, and direct views of the Matterhorn.
You can come just for a drink in the ice bar, or book an overnight stay in one of the custom igloos (some even with private hot tubs). Whether you’re visiting or sleeping inside, it’s a surreal and unique alpine experience.
🛷 Best for: Winter vibes, crazy overnight stays, and ice art
📍 Access: Rotenboden station (Gornergrat Bahn), short walk from there
❄️ Season: Winter only (typically Dec–early April)
📷 Photo Tip: Go at blue hour — the warm igloo lights with snow and stars are unreal
