The Pitztal Glacier is the highest glacier in Tyrol, located right next to the Wildspitze, the second highest mountain of Austria. The glacier also is home to the highest café in Austria at 3,440 meters altitude, and a great viewing platform from which you'll see endless impressive mountains. Compared to most of the other glaciers in Tyrol, this one is a bit less busy during the winter season.
