Located in Villers-la-Ville in Walloon Brabant, the famous Abbey of Villers is one of the main tourist destinations in the region.

A little history: The abbey reached its peak at the end of the 13th century, when construction was completed. Then, until the 17th century, the abbey was hit several times by invasions that forced the monks to leave the abbey. At the end of the 17th century, during the French Revolution, the monks left the abbey and it gradually fell into disrepair due to looting and destruction. Fortunately, this exceptional heritage could be preserved thanks to the restoration of the ruins, acquired by the Belgian state at the end of the 19th century.

Today, it regularly hosts events such as concerts, exhibitions, plays, etc.
