Kolugljúfur Canyon is a great stop to make when driving in the north of Iceland. A neat waterfall and gorge easily accessible from the car park. You may even have it all to yourself. The road to get to the car park can become muddy and difficult to drive in the winter. You may also choose to walk around the area but be careful - it can be quite slippery and muddy!
