Kirkjubæjarklaustur has some really nice river braids just next to the city. They are easy to capture with a drone. Just keep in ind that the locals aren't to excited about you flying drones from their land so be respectful of where you park and fly from.
A good idea is to book a stay at Magma hotel, then you can fly from your cabin :)
