The most iconic mountain of Iceland. Best shot with the waterfall in front or northern lights in the background. If you are driving Snaefellsnes peninsula this is a must stop.

You may notice on safetravel.is that Kirkjufell is closed because of winter conditions... don't worry, this just means that hiking on Kirkjufell itself is closed. You can still go to the Kirkjufellsfoss parking lot to get great photos.

After passing the falls, continue along the path until you can see Kirkjufell's reflection in the water.
