This marks the eastern end of the famous 90 Mile Straight — the longest straight stretch of road in Australia. It’s one of those low-key landmarks you’ll probably have to look out for - but its worth the photo if your travelling East.

There’s not much to do here, but it’s still worth being aware of. From this point, it’s a long, uninterrupted run of road with very little variation, so it’s a good mental reset before settling in.

I'd recommend stopping and getting a photo (or adding your name or a sticker to the sign - look out for my name) before it starts.

Whats here:
✔ There is a roadhouse just before the sign so stopping in for a coffee & fuel is an option (I didn't stop at the roadhouse so can't comment on pricing)

✔ Great photo op
✔ Around 146 km of straight road ahead

Note: I was driving from the East so I didn't stop here long (I stopped at the Western end) but its worth a stop and a photo (and stretch of legs) before starting it.
