This pretty moderate hike is one of the most classic day hikes but for a reason. You will pass 5 different stunning lakes with a mindblowing alpine surrounding. How to get there: Your journey starts in Wangs at the Pizol Station. From here you have to take the gondola 3 times: First from Wangs to Furt, then the chairlift from Furt to Gaffia, and the last one from there to Pizolhütte. Then your hike starts. The first hour was the most intense for me since its going very steep up. On the way you pass the following lakes: Wangsersee, Wildsee, Schottensee, Schwarzsee, Baschalvasee. You arrive back at Gaffia and take the Gondola back down from there. The total amount is 4.5 hours hiking time in a roundtrip with around 10km distance.
