From BĂșðardalur, take Road 586 (Haukadalsvegur) east for about 8 km. Look for signs marking EirĂksstaðir. The final section is a gravel track but easily accessible by regular car in summer.

Students/Seniors: 1,500 ISK

Best Time of the Year to Visit:
May to September. The museum operates only during the summer season when the longhouse is staffed by guides. Outside of these months, the building can be viewed from the outside.
