Moose Meadow viewpoint, will you get lucky?!🫎
The moose meadows roadside pull-out that I stop at way more than I admit... Its obviously not guaranteed that you will see a moose, or any wildlife for that matter. But I like to pull over for 5 mins or so when coming past, just to test my luck. The best time is typically late afternoon, just around sunset when temperatures are not scorching hot in the summer sun.
Wide open meadows, Castle Mountain peeking above the treeline. In spring the grass glows lush and green, in fall it’s all golden tones, and on cool mornings you sometimes get the valley mist drifting through.
If you do see wildlife, whether it's moose, bears, elk, or something else. Please respect them and do not approach or feed them. Stay in your vehicle and keep at least 100 meters away, and always carry bear spray.

✅ TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY

Bugs can be a pain here in summer - spray up!
The Bow Valley Parkway is a high bear activity area! Always keep your distance from wildlife, carry bear spray, travel safely.
