Grassi Lakes is one of the most loved hikes near Canmore, and it's easy to see why. This short trail leads to two vibrant, jewel-toned lakes surrounded by towering cliffs and forest. There are two route options: an easier gravel path and a more scenic “difficult” trail that passes a waterfall and offers beautiful views of Canmore along the way. Once at the top, you’ll find clear turquoise water, rock climbers scaling the cliffs, and plenty of photo opportunities.
