Amman is total chaos done by stairs. Up and down, exhausting to get around on foot. It is poised between Western modernity (in the Boulevard) and Middle Eastern chaos (in the downtown souks). A bit like Rome, but bigger! In fact, like our capital city, it originally stretched over only 7 hills, but then got bigger. Fun fact: the color of the buildings must be the color of the stone of the mountains surrounding it. There is really an urban planning rule in this regard: A creamy white. You will find very poor areas and residential areas where the “rich” live there In any case they are all are very friendly, kind and welcoming. 🇮🇹 Amman è il caos totale fatta a scale. Salite e discese, faticosissima da girare a piedi. E' in bilico tra la modernità occidentale (nel Boulevard) e il caos mediorientale (nei souk del centro). Un po’ come Roma, ma più grande! In effetti, come la nostra capitale, originariamente si estendeva su soli 7 colli, ma poi si è ingrandita. Curiosità: il colore degli edifici deve essere quello della pietra delle montagne che la circondano. C’è proprio una regola urbanistica in questo senso: Un bianco crema. Troverai zone poverissime e zone residenziali dove vi abitano i "ricchi" In ogni caso sono tutti sono molto affabili, gentili e accoglienti. Sono orgogliosi di averti come ospite e non mancheranno mai di dirti “Welcome in Jordan!”.
