It was the Khan’s summer residence in Khiva. They caught our attention the decorations both on the wood and on the ceilings, transporting us into a world of timeless beauty. Inside the Tash Khauli Palace, also called Tosh Havli, there are over 150 rooms and 9 courtyards. Its name means "Stone House". The most interesting part is the Harem. The Khan had 5 wives and - so they say - 41 concubines (he had to be a happy man...). Wives lived on the left side of the courtyard, while concubines shared rooms on the right side. The palace is a real maze with lots of small entrances and holes in the walls. Go explore because some of them will lead you to some beautiful courtyards!

🇮🇹 Era la residenza estiva del Khan a Khiva. Hanno catturato la nostra attenzione le decorazioni sia sul legno che sui soffitti, trasportandoci in un mondo di bellezza senza tempo. All'interno del Palazzo Tash Khauli, chiamato anche Tosh Havli, ci sono oltre 150 stanze e 9 cortili. Il suo nome significa "Casa di pietra". La parte più interessante è l'Harem. Il Khan aveva 5 mogli e – così dicono – 41 concubine (doveva essere un uomo felice…). Le mogli abitavano sul lato sinistro del cortile, mentre le concubine condividevano le stanze sul lato destro. Il palazzo è un vero labirinto con tanti piccoli ingressi e buchi nei muri. Vai ad esplorare perché alcuni ti condurranno in alcuni splendidi cortili!
