The Cement Creek Redwood Forest is a popular spot near Warburton, where you can chill among the towering Californian Redwoods and pose for some epic photos through the corridors between the trees. Planted in the 1930s for a hydrology experiment, these majestic trees offer a cool escape in summer and a colourful backdrop in autumn.
Elise's Tips:
Walking beneath the towering red barked trees, I couldn’t decide whether I was on the set of Harry Potter or Twilight, it was so magical and always is when I visit this location. Keep a look out for some man made stick nests and don’t forget to walk down to the river to explore more. The forest is right next to the car park so you could probably push a pram or wheelchair across the ground here if needed.
