Get ready for one of the most rewarding hikes in the Rockies, starting from the iconic Moraine Lake. The trail to Sentinel Pass is a stunner, taking you through the incredible Larch Valley, which absolutely glows with golden hues in the fall. It's a challenging climb with some steep switchbacks, but the panoramic views of the Valley of the Ten Peaks are more than worth the effort. Remember, you can't drive directly to the trailhead, so you'll need to catch a shuttle bus to Moraine Lake to begin your adventure.

I recommend getting an Alpine Start shuttle ticket but if you can’t get one of those, I recommend getting a private sunrise shuttle so you can get the best lighting
