Eryn's Tips:

• Chilkat Tower is one of the coolest spots to stay in Haines! There are three different levels you can rent all with wrap-around patios, bathrooms, several bedrooms and a full kitchen and a sitting room! The wrap-around patio is really the draw here, and it is so nice to grab a nice drink and sit outside overlooking the gorgeous Alaskan mountains around you.

• I would recommend staying on the top floor if you're able, as the walls and floors are not very soundproof! There are signs to remind people to tread lightly, but you can definitely hear when there are people walking around above you.

• Not only are the views and the patio amazing, but the inside of the rentals is also absolutely stunning. The furniture inside is honestly a dream. I can't even imagine how expensive it was to furnish all three apartments. Massive solid wood tables and wardrobes, gorgeous rugs, and luxurious bathrooms are what you can expect! I wanted to steal everything, and I would have if I could find a way to hide a 10-foot hardwood console table in my overnight bag, haha!
