Alpenglow Restaurant in Haines, Alaska, is a great spot for delicious wood-fired pizza and homemade desserts.

Eryn's Tips:

• Order early!!! This place gets busy, so if you want food, I'd recommend ordering earlier than you'd think. They were really busy when we went, and it was a 2-hour wait for food one time! I have also been where it wasn't quite so crazy, but definitely check what the wait time will be!

• The pizza options are plentiful, and you pretty much can't go wrong! We usually do take-out and go eat somewhere with a pretty view, but they also have seating inside!

• Order the dessert (whatever it may be that week). It's completely made in-house and SO GOOD.
