Carcross Commons is a must-visit spot in Carcross, Yukon, where you can soak up the rich First Nation culture and learn about the gold rush history. Grab a coffee, explore the stores and read the informational signs around the Commons.

Eryn's Tips:

  • Start your time at Carcross Commons at Caribou Crossing Coffee to get a little sweet treat and a drink before browsing the stores (I usually get a funky drink when I'm here, like the black forest mocha!).

  • Carcross Commons has several small storefronts with local artisans of all types, and I would highly recommend taking the time to stop into each store! I have come home with many unique items that I love from day trips to Carcross.

  • After shopping, you can either stop by the Matthew Watson General Store for an ice cream or grab some food at the Bistro on Bennett.
