• The KDCC is stunning and worth a walk through while in Whitehorse! There is a lot of information on local Indigenous history and culture, along with a small shop that sells indigenous art! I once saw the most beautiful pair of locally made moccasins I had ever seen in the KDCC, and I still wish I had bought them many years later!

• There are often events happening at the KDCC, including Christmas markets, cultural festivals and local dinners and celebrations. Definitely check out the website to see what's planned for your trip!

• I have recently discovered that the KDCC offers a Sewing Circle that meets every Thursday night at 5:00 pm. Apparently, you can do any type of fibre art, not just sewing! I have been wanting to stop by and check it out, so if anyone visits and wants to go with me, let me know!
