Dease Lake, located on the Stewart-Cassiar Highway in Northern British Columbia, is a popular pit stop for travellers looking to stock up on supplies. With amenities like stores, gas stations, and restaurants, it's a convenient spot to refuel before heading out to explore the stunning wilderness of northern BC. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the abundance of lakes and rivers for paddling, fishing, and even whitewater rafting. Plus, wildlife lovers can catch a glimpse of bears, moose, and more in their natural habitats. Whether you're passing through or staying a while, Dease Lake offers a taste of adventure in the great outdoors.

Eryn's Tips:

  • Dease Lake is an absolutely stunning area of Northern BC, and I would highly recommend stopping for a little while to check out the small town. There are several places to grab a bite to eat, get gas, and there's even a communal StarLink you can connect to, as Dease Lake does not have cell service!
