Cooper's is an upscale casual Italian joint located in the historic Capital Hotel, open Wednesday to Saturday from 5 pm till late. Reservations are recommended for those looking to enjoy their globally inspired menu. On the other hand, the Dirty Northern is a classic public house with a laid-back vibe, serving easy eats from 3 pm until late, seven days a week. No reservations needed here, just come on in and grab a seat!

Eryn's Tips:

  • The Dirty is honestly one of my fave places to get food in town! The burgers and fries are unreal, the tuna tataki is probably my favourite dish in the Yukon, and the drinks are great! :) The vibe is very casual, and they have an outdoor patio during the summer that is so nice to sit at!

  • They will often have live music later in the night on weekends, and the whole place turns into a pretty rowdy bar if you stay late! If you want a more chill experience, as long as you're out of there before around 10 pm on a weekend, you should be fine.

  • Sheep Camp is another restaurant attached to Cooper's and The Dirty. It's upstairs and offers special cocktails and a more sophisticated drink bar. You can still order all the same food as the restaurants below, as well, but with a smaller-scale vibe.
