Boya Lake, also known as Tā Ch'ilā Park, is a gem for camping and water fun in British Columbia. The park boasts crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. With two short hiking trails and a mountain bike trail, there's plenty to explore on land, too. Wildlife sightings are common, so keep your eyes peeled for moose, beavers, and maybe even some mountain goats. Plus, the park is steeped in history, with ties to the Kaska Dene First Nation. So, pack your gear and get ready for a nature-filled adventure at Boya Lake!

Eryn's Tips:

  • We only did a drive-through of this campground, and I almost cried from the beauty, you guys! The water is the most brilliant blue I have ever seen, and there were so many people enjoying the water by kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding!

  • We came back here to stay on a Friday night, and the campground was completely full, so I would recommend going during the week or getting there early if possible, because I think this is a very popular spot in the summer!

  • This was also one of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever seen. You can tell this is a treasured location! I am already making plans to get back here ASAP because I truly think this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in my entire life. I have serious RAGRETS (please tell me people get this reference), about not taking photos and jumping in when I had the chance!
