For your first night in Madeira, I recommend staying at the Alto Lido Hotel. It’s located in the charming city of Funchal, which is a must-visit destination. The city is known for its lush greenery, vibrant parks, stunning architecture, and, has so many restaurants and activities to offer so you will never be bored!

Next, you’ll explore the unique town of Ponto do Sol, situated on the south coast of Madeira. This town is a paradise for hikers and photographers. There are plenty of trails to choose from and you’ll find yourself stopping to take photos at every point in this super cute town.

I recommend making some time for Cascata dos Antos - an exceptional waterfall situated right in the middle of the road! It was such a delightful surprise, and I couldn't resist stopping to enjoy the falls myself.

Finally, end your day by visiting Miradouro Molina - one of the most breathtaking spots on the island. You'll get to experience some incredible cloud inversions and catch a stunning sunset. Trust me, it's the perfect way to end your day in Madeira.
