Porto das Salemas is a hidden gem located on the northern coast of Porto Santo Island, near Camacha. The rock pools of Porto das Salemas can be accessed by taking a steep, dirt track walk. It is best to go here when the tide is low, as the pools are only visible at this time and you will also find a few sandy beaches nearby. BBQ has been set-up to spend a day there with friends or family to enjoy this natural paradise. Here you will find stunning scenery perfect for pictures as well as beautiful sunsets. Be careful during high tide as you may get cut off from returning back up. Bring some comfort shoes as flip flops are not suitable for the terrain.
