Speer is a mountain located in St Gallen, in Switzerland. It offers a stunning panoramic view to Zürich, Schwyz , Garner Alp and Graubünden, making it a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The hike to the summit takes a few hours, but it's totally worth it for the breathtaking scenery.

HIKE DETAILS:

Start at Amden (935m) and take the chairlift up to Niederschlag ( 1289m ) This is where your hike starts. You continue on the trail towards Hinter Höhi then Alp Oberchäseren. From here you have a steep approach to Speer (1950m) but totally worth the effort.

The entire trail is 6,5 km long with 800 m of elevation gain.

Once you finished the hike you can hike the same way back towards Amden.
