What you'll do

Just 30 minutes away from Kyoto, Uji is a small town full of history that has a lot to offer!

We will start the day at 8.30 am, we will visit museums, hike, ride a boat and relax along the river, visit temples and shrines and eat local food.

The day will end at around 17:30.

Nourriture:Itoh Kyuemon in the morning and snacks/food/shopping at the end of the day in Omotesando road are not included.

Nourriture:Please bring water or other liquids as we will walk and hike a lot.

Good shoes:Same reason as above!

Espèces:In a lot of places and stores they only accept cash. Just in case bring enough for transportation and food.

Kyoto is a beautiful city, and around it there are many citis, town and nature to explore! One of my favorite day trips from Kyoto (or Osaka) is Uji, the town of matcha. It is a small town located in the south part of Kyoto prefecture, that has lots of history and things to do! One day is the perfect amount of time to explore it, let's get started!
